Description: The Milestone Living History Museum, located in Basingstoke, Hampshire brings to life the lives of people living in and around the 19th and early 20th century. Housed in a magnificent, modern open-air building, life-sized authentic street scenes have been recreated to allow you to wander through the ages.

Amongst the streets you can enter into period houses & shops, factories & industrial buildings and even a working pub. Within these buildings are housed everyday objects from that period in time and a range of vehicles, from large steam engines to commercial vehicles. Demonstrators are also on hand, dressed in period costumes to guide you through the museum.

Significant collections include those from local manufacturers, Thorneycroft, Taskers & Wallis and Steevens. You are free to wander around the museum as you like or as recommended, use the interactive headphones to guide you through the streets.
