Description: Portsmouth is a large modern city located on the south coast of Hampshire with great links to the IOW, Southampton and Hayling Island. You can also get connections to France & Spain via the ferry port, including crossings to Cherbourg, Caen & St Malo.

Portsmouth is best known for its historical links with the Royal Navy, you can discover world famous ships such as HMS Victory, the Mary Rose & HMS Warrior 1860, that have shaped British History at Portsmouth’s Historic Dockyard. Other attractions include the Royal Navy Museum and several Harbour Tours.

You can get spectacular views over Portsmouth from the Spinnaker Tower, travel in glass lifts to see up to 23 miles over to the South Downs and the Isle of Wight. Below the Tower is the award winning Gunwharf Quays, for great shopping and food & drink, with over 20 restaurants, cafés and bars right on the waters edge.
