It is easily accessible on foot or by car with parking in Crossborough Hill. An historic Georgian park, it has an attractive parkland landscape of mature trees & garden features, in which to walk & relax. It also has a newly refurbished play area, sport pitches and all weather tennis courts. The park is host to a variety of events during the year including the town's biggest & brightest event, Balloons Over Basingstoke. Following an award from the National Lottery Fund, the park has been recently refurbished to include a woodland walk, wedding garden and new aviary.
